Methodology

What YEShop is

• A curated catalog of Amazon.com products with local detail pages on doubanfx.com.
• Outbound “Buy on Amazon” links use Associates tag meihuagold18-20.
• We cover digital gadgets (chargers, hubs, earbuds), beauty staples (skincare, hair tools), and fitness/outdoors gear — not kitchen appliances or home gadgets.
• Brand hubs (e.g. Anker, CeraVe, The Ordinary) group SKUs; buying guides answer compare-intent questions.

Selection criteria

1. Real product images required. We only publish SKUs with usable product photography — placeholder-only listings do not ship in the generated catalog.
2. Niche fit. The ASIN must belong in digital, beauty, or fitness/outdoors. Off-niche bestsellers are skipped even if they sell well.
3. Specs clarity. We prefer titles and bullets we can cite (wattage, capacity, ingredient %, size) without inventing numbers.
4. Compare-intent value. Items that support a guide (“A vs B”, “when to use which”, authenticity checklists) get priority for long-tail pages.
5. No invented offers. YEShop never fabricates dollar prices, star ratings, or InStock claims. Pages say “See Amazon for current price.”

How guides work

Guides are long-tail articles aimed at a specific shopping question (travel wattage, overnight skincare order, mat thickness for knees). Each guide links to local product pages for featured ASINs, then to Amazon for checkout. Guides live under /guides/ and appear in the sitemap. We update them when catalog ASINs change — we do not wipe guides.json during daily product adds.

Amazon price and stock can change

Amazon.com controls live price, promotions, seller, and inventory. A YEShop page can be hours or days behind a flash deal or an out-of-stock event. Always open the Amazon listing before you buy and confirm the brand, model, size, and shipping estimate yourself.

Disclosure (FTC / Associates)

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate disclosure appears in page bodies and footers — never stuffed into meta descriptions. Required under the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement and FTC endorsement guides. Commission does not change the price you pay on Amazon.

What we do not do

• No Wirecutter-style lab testing. We do not run independent bench tests, blinded panels, or durability labs. We curate and explain publicly available product facts for shopping intent.
• No medical cure claims. Beauty copy stays label-aligned. We do not promise to treat or cure acne, eczema, or other conditions.
• No fake scarcity or invented ratings. If Amazon does not show it, we do not invent it.
• No payment or shipping on YEShop. Amazon handles checkout, fulfillment, and returns.
